Michelle Harper

Michelle is a leadership consultant and coach who helps clients develop greater capacities to notice, listen, connect, and lead with clarity and care. She believes the art and practice of perspective taking is one of the most powerful capabilities we can develop. Michelle supports clients in the messy, critical, and beautiful work of how we grow as humans, how we challenge the limiting beliefs that hold us back, and how we lead from a place of deeper self-awareness to create environments where everyone’s best work can take place.

Previously recognized as a top Canadian brand innovator, Michelle has nearly two decades of experience building and leading teams across the retail, consumer packaged goods, lifestyle, and entertainment industries. As a former senior leader and Vice President, she knows firsthand that navigating complexity with compassion and courage isn’t just good leadership, it delivers better business outcomes. Michelle holds certifications in Growth Edge Coaching, Polarity Thinking™, administering the Leadership Circle Profile®, and MINDSHIFT—an immersive, neuroscience-backed process that equips clients to examine and shift their thought patterns and hidden biases to become great leaders. She has additional training in principles from the Conscious Leadership Group, and Mindful Self-Compassion, and believes in the importance of continuous learning to strengthen and evolve her practice. Michelle is an alumnus of Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Communication.

Michelle is based in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and works primarily from the unceded territories of the Katzie (q̓ic̓əy̓) First Nation and Kwantlen (qʼʷa:n̓ƛʼən̓) First Nation. She supports clients across North America, and is an immigrant and the daughter of settlers from the United Kingdom and Southeast Asia. When not consulting, Michelle volunteers in MOSAIC’s Workplace Connections program, providing career mentorship for newcomers and refugees as they prepare for career success in Canada. She loves playing field hockey, spoiling her black lab, and traveling with her husband.
